Focus Drone Academy offers SACAA-accredited Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) training across Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) and Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) multi-rotor operations — the same no-shortcuts standard we bring to every course at Focus Air.

Beauty Phumzile Mchunu

Phumi is a SACAA Examination Invigilator and Head of the Examinations Department at Focus Air, where she plays an important role in maintaining the integrity, professionalism and smooth administration of aviation examinations. In her role, she oversees examination processes and ensures that candidates are assessed in a structured, fair and professional environment in accordance with the applicable aviation standards and requirements.

BVLOS Drone Instructor

Mozaffar Cassim

Mozaffar is a highly knowledgeable BVLOS-rated Drone Instructor with extensive experience in drone operations. He brings a strong combination of technical knowledge and practical experience to his work, and is always willing to assist and share his expertise with others. He is committed to maintaining high standards and ensuring that others gain a clear understanding of safe and effective drone operations.

Sibusisiwe Vuyiswa Mbongwe

Sibusisiwe is a dedicated BVLOS-rated Drone Instructor with a deep passion for aviation and a strong commitment to developing the next generation of aviation professionals. She is currently completing her Fixed-Wing Private Pilot Licence, and is passionate about equipping aspiring pilots and drone operators with the skills and confidence needed to operate responsibly and effectively.
